How To Clean Your Pakt BagUpdated 5 months ago

Taking care of your Pakt bag is essential to keep it looking great and lasting as long as possible. Here we share some tips to help you do that.

Important: Machine washing is strongly discouraged, and spot cleaning is recommended instead for cleaning all of our bags.

While it might be tempting, machine washing your bag can damage its materials, impact its structure, and void the warranty. We do not recommend machine washing for these reasons and can lead to excess moisture in compartments that can be hard to dry fully.

Spot-Cleaning Steps

  1. Gather Your Supplies
Grab a microfiber or polishing cloth, mild soap, and some water. These gentle materials will work best to lift dirt without damaging the fabric.
  2. Dampen the Cloth
Lightly wet your cloth and add a small amount of mild soap. The best type of soap is fragrance free without any dyes.
  3. Gently Clean the Surface
With the damp, soapy cloth, wipe down any areas with stains or dirt. Focus on gently rubbing, as this helps lift dirt without over-wetting the fabric or adding excess lint.
  4. Dry with a Second Cloth
Use a dry, clean cloth to blot any remaining moisture. Avoid using traditional towels as lint could transfer.

Removing excessive lint or hair?
For lint removal on the go, carry a small lint roller. At home, you can use a stickier, larger roller for more thorough cleaning. The lint rollers we recommend all can be refilled:

Hardware Care
For the hardware on your bag, use a cloth dampened with soap and water, or an alcohol wipe if needed, to keep zippers and other metal details clean and in good shape.
