Does Pakt gear contain PFAS, BPA, or require a Prop 65 Warning?Updated a day ago

At Pakt, we care deeply about the materials we use and the impact our products have on both people and the planet. Below is a breakdown of the most common material and safety questions we receive.

BPA, PFAS, PFCS, and DMF

Our travel bags are made with recycled materials and are free of PFAS, PFCS, and DMFs.
The Travel Mug does not contain any BPA.

Water Resistance & Coatings

Our gear is treated with a PFC-free water-resistant coating designed to repel light moisture, splashes, and everyday exposure to the elements. While this treatment helps protect your gear, our bags are not fully waterproof and should not be submerged.

Vegan Materials

All Pakt bags are considered vegan. They do not contain any animal extracts or animal by-products in either the product itself or the manufacturing process. All materials used are synthetic.

Prop 65

Pakt bags do not carry a California Prop 65 warning. We do not use chemicals that meet the criteria requiring this disclosure.

Ethical & Responsible Design

We are proud to be Fair Trade Certified™ Factory and work closely with our partners to ensure responsible manufacturing practices.
